Hello Guys:Sorry to say that Fun-Tronics will be closed the rest of this week. Janet's father passed away and we will be taking care of family business the rest of the week. If you need to order anything you can still place your order online, or get back with us next week. Thanks for understanding.
 Rod

Tell Janet I am so sorry. A parent is a hard thing to lose.    Was his passing a sudden thing or somewhat expected? |

Hi guys,Thank you so much for the kind words & cards.  I truly appreciate all of your concern.  My dad had been in the hospital for 10 weeks after what was supposed to be a simple surgery.  He went into cardiac arrest in the recovery room and had to be recussitated.  We finally learned about a week ago he had severe brain damage and his brain could not keep his body functioning.  It has been kind of a shock to our family because he was in really good health before this "simple" surgery.

It is so nice to know that we are a part of such a kind & caring group of people.   I apologize to any of you who needed parts last week and couldn't get them.  We are back open this week and ready to get back to normal.

Thank you again for all of your care & concern and your prayers for our family.

 Janet

 Again - very sorry Janet!
I have experienced both ends of the spectrum. My father died suddenly from a massive coronary seizure and my mother passed away after 4-5 years of battling a rare neurological disease called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP).

Doctors profess to know it all, but they are still learning. My mother visited several clinics specializing in neurological issues and tried several things (at great expense) because doctors thought it was the "cure", but it wasn't until her last month or so that her illness was positively identified. It was very difficult to witness her slowly deteriorate over time.

I guess if I had to chose - quick and painless like my father would be the way to go. But that is one thing in life we do not have a choice in!

Time heals all wounds and it will get easier to handle in due course. Take care and keep busy!
