Found this on craigslist

http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/clt/764382372.html

Put those vintage gas pumps out front and a cooler or two, would make a nice display if you have the room.

I had a navigator in my old squadron in NC whose Dad did just that...he restored an old gas station building similar to this out in front of their house and put the old pumps, signs, etc. out with it.  It was really neat to see, and a cool place to put his other goodies, including a few soda machines.

Looks like a PURE oil "cottage" style station. May have been converted to Shell later in it's life.

I would like to convert an old gas station to a burger/pizza joint when I'm done with my state service. I just hope there are some still around when I get to that point.

If only I had a hubby that understood the need for it.

I'm way too much like my dad.
Back when he was alive and had the body shop it was our daycare when we were young...my sis still rolls her eyes when we talk about growing up there.
She remembers filling the soda machine with bottles every week too.

The smell of grease, bondo and car paint.
Geez we should have been boys.
He didnt know how to keep 3 girls occupied in the shop besides bug the customers and play dominos.
