Hello to all!New to the group--looking to buy a machine for my gameroom.Have no idea about prices.Saw this ad on craigslist and wondered if $150 is worth it.I emailed the guy he said it measures 26.5 wide 48 tall and 20 deep.I don't think it from the 40's,though.Price seems reasonable,but i don't know.Any help would be greatly appreciated.          I like this guy! He advertises a machine for $200.00 but says he will go
no lower than $150.00 
 
         It is priced right, if you can get him to show you that it cools and vends
properly. If it doesn't we can help you fix it, but it will give you more bargaining
room because that will cost money! (wink)!
         The probability that it is OK is 95%.  The economy is tight right now, so
offer him $100.00, we think he will accept.
        Either way, go for it. Looks like it will clean up real nice. Enjoy!

OH  you should go for it like Glen said take $150 with you and break that $50
down to two $20 and two $5  So that way if he come bak and said $100 is not
going to do it look around in your wallet and pull out a $20 from one area
and maybe a $5 for a different area and if he still come's back looking for more go               out to you veh. and have the rest out there.

I agree it is a nice looking little machine. It would look great in your garage. It is well worth $150 if it works and is complete.

I got into the square tops deep about 6 months ago. I now have about 10 of them. I take a heat gun with me, I then plug in the machine and let the compressor cycle until it turns off, once it does I then heat up the sensor to see if it truely works. I got burnt on one that would run just fine until it built up pressure, but when it came time to restart it would not go. Also take some change with you, a decent amount so you can check the coin mech. Most of them require change to be in the mech in order for it to work correctly. All of these things will add up if they need to be repaired.
