Look everyone, all I'm saying is under that 50 years of metal, theres rust. Do yourself a favor and pull out the liner and do it wright. You see all these machines on E-bay , that say full restoration. If I put my machine on E-bay, you see what you get. Nothing covered up here!

How many of you went to pick up a machine , that look lights out on E-bay, thinking it was restored, because thats what they said in the listing and got there and you took one look at the machine and said, what the hell??

Want to do a perfect restoration? Do an 81, 56 or C-72
Pour a ton of restoration time and money into a square corner machine, and you had better plan on keeping it for a long time, you won't recover cost if you try and sell!
Bubba got swayed into doing a "perfect" job....and as far as I know
that machine is still waiting for welding, prep and painting.
Compare this to restoring a Chevrolet Camero vs a Chevrolet Vega. ....... Start with a potential winner.
Curtis does VERY nice work.........but "for people who pay him"

Curtis,
I can't speak for anyone else but I personally remove the liner out of "EVERY" machine that I restore. Your correct about removing the old insulation as well as removing and replacing the cancered out metal that is found more often than not on the bottom of the inner cabinet. I know there are some guys that may not go to this extreme but I personally do not take short cuts when it comes to restoring machines. My business is only as good as my reputation and workmanship.

You are wright and your work looks great, here is a WC-42T Coke machine I'm doing and at first glance, looks like the liner and everything under it would be nice??? like you said, most times , there not, as in this case.
