Hi Gang
Got my latest vending machine through the post yesterday. That's my fourth since Christmas. One more still to come and then that's it.
This one is a US Advance Condom Machine. It has a vending magazine that is split into two columns. Two very small columns. I think that it is more or less complete. Has a outer lock which I have removed and put on my other Advance Machine but unfortunately the cash box had been barrelled in its previous life. There appears to be one weight missing too.
This machine is also smaller that my original one. Its narrower and not so long in the body. What I can't work out was how it vended. Its working okay, I think. When you insert a 25c piece and turn the knob it looks like it would have shot two boxes out. Would that be right. Two boxes for 25c. Help me out here guys. I only ever went to the chemist for my needs.
Does anyone know any decent websites for this sort of machine. Have done google etc without success.
Cheers
Dave

I have been looking for information, parts for these machines for a while (see my lucky strike post). Not much out there, but the machines are very common (?).

You're alright Bob... With two young kids wer don't have much cause for "the oldies."
Cormy - I saw your post. I know Crowriver stock the locks. $30.00 but that's all I have been able to find.
You are right about them being common. But I was unaware that they came in differing sizes.

Hi Glen
No its not. Its about an inch less wide and about two inches shorter than the Hershey one. On the Hersehy one the back plate protrudes and on the condom one the front cover fits over the plate.
Think I might just turn the condom one into another candy machine. The wife is giving me the evil eye and the six year old wants to know what its all about.

Dave I also have a couple of these machines. One is an original Wrigley's gum machine. I am looking for another for a condom machine to go into my shop "Mens" room
