I bought this 44 off of ebay, it was really close to me and I like these little machines.
And it dispenses cans!
Upon close inspection of it, it looks really original and in excellent shape.
What do you see that might have been changed?
The decals look like they are probably replaced, looking at the paint I don't think its been repainted after looking in all the cracks and crevices and underneath.
The wiring has been replaced and there has been some fittings put on the lines for refilling.

What do your expert eyes see?

I would lean toward it having been repainted at some point. The decal on the side (as Ltransam pointed out) and the small Coca Cola decal on the coin door. It looks like the condensation drip pan is a reproduction along with the bottle stack.

Yeah the water release stickers on the site need to go, if they are not clear coated over, you might be able to get those off and put some nice vinyl letters on there.. otherwise the exterior looks great, unless you want it showroom quality... As far as the stack.. not sure if the whole rack was replaced rather it looks as if just the "rockers" (the part that dispenses the cans) have been replaced or modified from bottles to that roller type of assemble that would vend cans without puncturing them... There was a guy offering replacement rockers a while back that you could put into an original bottle stack to adapt it from bottles to cans... overall nice machine... I'd like to get a can conversion for my machine.... anyone know of that guy who offers them??? '<img'>

The bottle stack has been swapped out for a can stack. The bottle stack has a "wire" bottle guide to direct the bottle to the chute.

The compressor is not original. It has been replaced at some point.

The decals, on the inside of the door liner, look to be original and in

good shape.  Over all, nice looking machine!

I got my can converter rockers from FunTronics..I believe the pair cost around 100 bucks...more than pays for itself if you consider the price of coke cans vs small glass bottles.

Home Arcade offers the whole can conversion bottle stack.  I think that costs close to 700 dollars, not including shipping.

Eric

It might need to be replaced at another point also.
It works great but when it shuts off it has a pretty loud rattle.
