We had a big hail storm.  NWS says 1/4 inch, I found a bunch that were close to a half inch (no, I didn't go out in the middle of it).  Our flowers in pots are destroyed, garden is in shambles and the temp drop from the 80's to the 50's with fog in a matter of minutes.  After an hour our yard still looks like it snowed!  I think I know what I'll be dong tomorrow when I get home from work...

Man, we need the rain, but you can keep that stuff! I've never seen so much hail.

Our weather was beautiful by the way.

Today  here in Misouri we had mid 80s but we'vr been in the high 90
for a while haven't had to cut grass in a while... Yeah we need rain but not the hail
our hail time is usually April... Which my buddy loves (he owns 6 auto body shops)
Hope you didn't get a lot of damage.

Brent, I hope you don't have a lot of damage.
Word of advice get photo's of the damage stuff and call your
insurance agent right away  . We had good weather up here in Michigan
a little cloudy and that is about it.

Its rained here on and off for well over a week. Had the hottest day ever about a month ago and since then it hasn't stopped raining.

Oh, we still have a hosepipe ban. A little while ago they were talking about emergency water rationing. Yes the UK is an Island and Yes we are surrounded by water and yes it ALWAYS rains in England.

I am in Dallas right now (had an emergency biz trip) and it is in the high 90's.. I took a pic of the temp gauge in the rental car, and it showed 116 ':O'

Back home, we had .4 inches of rain the whole month of Aug so far..

I guess the storm ended up being pretty bad and we didn't get the worst of it.  It came in off Lake Michigan, hit our county and the county to the East.  They even have closed down a 4 lane state highway (only 1/4 mile long) so they could use it as a clean-up staging area '<img'> .  Probably the only damage that we will turn in is some of our vehicles.
