As stated in the post for the C-55-E I just picked -up .The Top coil was smoked  '<img'> Where can i get a replacement one? I'm beleive its a Conco =Model A9100-807
115 Volts 60 Cycles 125 Va . I tryed the one from my C-55-D Single select But it did not work eather ,Maybe because it only takes Dimes & Nickles ,And the 2 Select C-55-E also takes Quarters & makes change '<img'>

JohnieG is the changer man.. but from my understanding, as long as the socket is the same that the changer plugs into, you should be able to plug in a different changer, and it should work. Doesn't matter for the money in and out.

As far as I know, Bubba's right. A Jones plug changer mech is interchangable with another Jones Plug changer mech.

Maybe because it only takes Dimes & Nickles ,And the 2 Select C-55-E also takes Quarters

That would probably have an impact on it, but I don't think I have ever seen a Jones plug type mech that did not have a NDQ rejector in it...Hmmm '<img'>

Can you post a picture of the single select mech?

Tom ,
I'll try and post a picture later .But if you look back to the pictures I posted for you on the posting of the machine .You'll notice the one 10 cent price for the C-55-D only say's deposit 10 cent 1 dime or 2 nickles .I think i just need to replace the top coil & it'll work .But I'll try & get Johnny G (?) To take a look at it maybe .

Leonard,
Interesting coin mech - I have never seen one like that! The rejector it has in it is a NDQ rejector? Is there a slot for quarters in the coin block?
So this mech will not work in the dual selection 55 - will a dual selection mech (ie. S75-9800x) work in the single selection 55?
Also, thanks for the template (pic below). The template was used to insure that the 55 was loaded correctly. After the second bottle was put in the column, the angle of the two bottles should be about 30 degrees (if not add or remove shims). I am pretty sure that a template was issued with the 55, as it is referred to in the loading instructions
