Did this monster have drawers that pull out for the pre-cool?
If so, I think this is the machine featured in a DVD I bought at the World of Coca Cola last week in Atlanta.  It is a little safety video about putting the empty bottles back.

Jeff,
It had two precool drawers on each side of the chute. I believe they were made out of wood and possibly lined with aluminum. My manual says "Aluminum is used extensively throughout the machine wherever moisture is a factor. Heavy guage steel is used where added strength and protection is needed".

I'm local & if you want it, I can pick it up & store it in my new garage!

Maybe you should get it since you are getting rid of a few of your other ones!  ':p'
