It is a Vendoraltor 242. What a huge machine. 67 high, 32 wide, 33 deep. I bet it weighs a ton. The thing pre cools more than most machines vend. The book says it precools 88 bottles.

I'm local & if you want it, I can pick it up & store it in my new garage! (until you can figure out how to ship it...or use my Fedexfreight account's 45% discount on freight collect) :'>

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

Did this monster have drawers that pull out for the pre-cool? If so, I think this is the machine featured in a DVD I bought at the World of Coca Cola last week in Atlanta. It is a little safety video about putting the empty bottles back.

Jeff, It had two precool drawers on each side of the chute. I believe they were made out of wood and possibly lined with aluminum. My manual says "Aluminum is used extensively throughout the machine wherever moisture is a factor. Heavy guage steel is used where added strength and protection is needed".
