I'd like to say that I found this under a bush or ran an add and a little old lady came up and offered me £100.00 to take it away but I'm afraid that's not the case.

Never-the-less I feel that I got a bargain of sorts and the best thing is the Wife didn't hit the roof.

I haven't a clue where to start with this.  know it needs a new correct noozle and hose. Its in the garden at the moment the idea is to get it cleaned up and re-sprayed and bring it into my room in the house.

Have joined oldgas.com at the suggestion of a few of you last time we all spoke about petrol (sorry gas) pumps. So far as per usual there doesn't seem to be anyone this end of the world into collecting what I like and can point me in the right direction for parts.

I've also got an original shell shaped top for it too. The letters have been re-touched (badly) in the past so will need to have a look at that too.

At the momnet its full of spiders and alsorts of creepy crawlies. Have spent a considerable an=mmount of time in a wooded area, just sitting there..

Dave
Very very cool!
Check out the vendor Links at Oldgas.com, I really liked Weber's Nostalgia Mart, and bought most of my parts from them. Vic's Place was another good source, but Vic has sold off the business, and to me it doesn't seem to carry the wide selection they once did. I am sure Eric and others here will also give you some of their favorites.

Dave:

It is wonderful.  I will do a little research on it and try top find original color schemes.  Are you planning on a full restoration?

Dave,
I'm happy for you, you now have a new hobby.

Glad your wife hasnt objected. Like I tell my hubby, I have to enjoy my soda machines while
I'm still young and the arthritis isnt too bad.

Thinking about a gumball machine myself, that is if I can find one I like and is at a good price.
