You guys are too funny!'<img'>   I will admit I did the "happy machine dance" after I won it.  My kids thought that was pretty funny.

Thanks again to all.  My wife helped a lot on this.  We set a timer to coinincide with eBay time.  I had my bid ready and only had to hit the "confirm bid" button when she said to.  I got in with 8 seconds left.  I am going to pick it up on Saturday and will post pictures.  I am very excited.

Not that I want to break up a family outing, but.... there is an easier way to snipe. I'll PM you with the details.

Are you picking it up this weekend before the snow "hits" ? People here go nuts over it. Haven't had any since early Dec. and there are runs on milk and bread.
Looking forward to hearing about the new machine.

I actually got it yesterday, as I was thinking the snow was going to mess things up.  It's is good shape.  Needs a good cleaning, especially the bottle mechanism.  But, it'll make a nice little project.  I'll post pictures soon. ''

7Up-date:

I tore down the machine over the weekend.  It needs some minor work.  It cools great.  I plan on rewiring and replacing the fans.  I have to tear down, clean and lube the bottle stack.  I did this to my can stack, so at least I am not going in totally uncharted waters.  The belt plate has the typical rust, so I am going to cut a new piece of metal and stick it in there.  I will touch up some rust areas inside and clean everything.  I don't plan on painting the exterior (at least not now), as I like the graphics, have no extra money (well, permission to use it anyway).  Besides, the machine will stay in the garage.  I am going to paint all the stuff in the interior.  Here are some photos.  These were taken at the previous owner's place, but it gives a good idea of the machines condition.

Looks like there's a lot of cool stuff out there in the garage! What's beside the 7up (nice machine by the way!) and is that a 39 to the other side?...
Nice score on the 7up that model was my first machine... Wish I still had it '<img'>

These photos were actually sent to me by Lloyd from Coinopwarehouse.  He owned this machine (and the 39 beside it).  This has a cool story.  My neighbor was looking for a machine (eventually bought a nice one from Josh) and I saw this one on Lloyd's site.  I contacted him about it and he wanted $375.  I thought that was a little steep and Lloyd said he paid $300 for it and if he didn't sell it, it was going to auction.  Well about a month later, this machine and the 39 were being auctioned in my home town.  I was planning on going, but my parents were visiting that weekend.  Oh well, so I thought.  The machine was bought by a guy about 35 miles from me who stuck it on eBay.  However, he didn't list it well and I got it for $103.  When I picked it up, his partner said he lost money on it, as it cost the guy nearly $200 at the auction.
