I am in the process of doing something with my Cavalier CMD-C coke chest cooler. It's in good shape with all the parts. It has some rust on the inside and a couple of small dents on the outside. I need to at least clean it up before placing it in my house. I don't intend to use it as a working cooler. How difficult would it be to restore it in the future if I take out all the parts and insulation and store them. Would there be any added value if I left the original insulation intact? Thanks.

You know It is up to each person on they restore there
machines . My self  Iwould do the whole thing now  and do it
right  even the compessor if it needs it .As far as the insulation you can replace that it wont make a difference in the value.
But try to keep it in tack for a patern for the new insulation.

that is what I would do .
