I just spoke with the guy and he won't budge off $500.  Yeah, that's a fair price, but I can't afford it and the $$ to put into it to make it operational/safe.  Heck, I don't know if it even runs.  So, I passed.  He's a very nice guy who said he was going to hang on to it and I should call back if I changed my mind.  Oh well.

You'll find something even better, just have to keep at it. Things have a way of popping up when you least expect it!
