I picked this machine up today, the owner said it has been sitting in a barn for some years but overall i am glad i went and got it, but it's missing a key does anyone have a key for a vmc-56 #K1821

Nice looking machine! Give the suppliers listed on the page a call they may have a key. Seems like they are around $15.00. I'd try that first. You can drill and replace if that fails. Creighton

well yesterday i could not find a key easily so my lack of patience won out and i drilled the lock out and after removing the hay and the numerous spider webs and a piece of paper advertising a finance plan for a moped dating to 1980, i plugged it in and it cooled and the little light in the door worked '> i let it go for about an hour and i turned it off i took off the coin mech "it was a metal and a bit heavy" thats about as far as i've gotten but so far i am cautiously optimistic, i will post pics as soon as i have them.
