Quick Question, for those out there familiar with these coin changers
Is it normal operation for one or more of the lockout solenoids to be active during standby operation.
Does it have any effect on normal operation if there are No change coins present?
I did find an interesting thing when it came to the coin switches, normal operation is for the switches to be on in standby.
Yes... no change means the mech will only accept exact change, example for a 10-cent purchase you'd have to insert 2-nickels or 1-dime, the mech will reject a quarter in this example.
also note that both CREMs as they are called are normally held in when all is right insofar as the mech is concerned IE; sufficient change in the tubes & the bottle stacks vend switch is in the "ready to vend " position. that means that it's ready to vend & not sold out or in a current vending cycle or stuck in the middle of a cycle ( such as a bottle hasn't been delivered or removed from the machined yet
