I've owned this now for a few years and have researched it and come up with nothing!
I know its either a top from a countertop dispenser or a countertop display.
I can provide more pictures and sizes if needed.
Thanks
Randy

Randy,
You are correct, that is a merchandiser for a vintage Dole or Selmix post-mix tower dispenser from the late 50's to early 60's. These were popular in drive in movie theaters. It's missing the insert which was a piece of red plastic that covered all the nuts and bolts you see behind the clear plastic with the Coke logo.

Check some old drive in concession stand pictures.

I tried to find a picture but haven't seen one yet.

Randy,
Here's what the front of the Dole tower will look like minus the rest of the machine, envision the red valve block mounted on a 1 foot tall stainless tower with a drip pan.

This is the Dole valve system used with your merchandiser. I could be wrong on the insert color, it could be white with the diamond pattern shown on the side of this machine, that was the logo scheme at the time.

I still think it's probably red though with the white Coke swirl logo. I'm getting old, the ol' memory is fading. biggrin

I finally found this, it's about as close as your going to get.

Think of the tower without the ice maker.

Very Nice!  Those towers bring back nightmares, a pain to work on.

Interesting to see 3 Cokes and 1 Sprite valve, but I think Coke only had 2 flavors at the time.
Unless they had a root beer, can't remember. I didn't start working for them until 1975.
