This one is not far away. How hard is the the door to find? I'll snag it if anybody needs parts. Unless it goes nuts :-)

Anyone know if the drum out of it will fit in a 27A, I know the 27s had the refrigeration in the middle of the drum.

I could sure use the drum and the top section off of the door.  If I can find out about the drum...I am interested in parts.

I believe Carlos Coates from Ohio reproduced those 33 drums but have not seen him advertise them in the last few years.  Nor have I seen any aluminum repops on eBay either...

What needs to be done here folks?
It's at $80. I really don't have $100 laying around for a machine that can't really tell if the parts are usable.

On the flip side if it vends/cycles the drum and compressor fires up can't justify parting it out just because the door has gone to join various shelves and V-44 coin doors in the land of Missing.

What does the book say for fair value? If somebody wants to grab it I'll put it on Forward air (or whatever) from San Jose for cost. I may still bid, my ebay id is cjsmith2 so lets not spend more than necessary. Thoughts and action items welcome.

Dave,
I don't think it is available anymore. I too found out about it after it was done. I even search eBay for issues of it and have never seen any. '<img'>

I gave it my best shot...I figured that I could sell the VMC 33 drum and coin mech and put that extra money iback in the ol' soda fund but I was only going to go up to 200.00...Steve's comment held me back too...do I really need another machine, especially another parts machine?  I need some self-control!

Well, Ol' Carlos Coates won this auction as well. Anyway, interesting story behind Club Soda and its owner, probably for another thread...I used to subscriber, it was kind of a cool magazine with only about 20 pages.  There was an issue around 2000 regarding a book they were putting out.  I left the country around that time but thank goodness I didn't send a pre-payment for their Soda Machine Book...it was never available from what I heard.

Remember that alien baby that came out of that dude's belly in Schwarzeneggar's Total Recall?  That's the name of the guy who ran Club Soda.  WHat every happened to him?
