Found a nice original Vendo 81D that needs restored and looks to be 100% complete and working. I've been out of the machine market for sometime, what's the going rate for one of them these days?

If it's complete and fully operational $2200-$2500.

There are many variables i'd say a hot buy as found is around 2k.

Well I decided to get it and I may just get one more, $1,625 seemed fair to me. One or two members might recognize this machine....

Fair price especially if you are going to restore it. There will be a lot of little incidentals a long the way that can add up.

Thanks guys, debating if I should by another one at the same price, missing the trim and 8 bottle guides but does seam to cool...

Depends on your budget.  Those are very reasonable prices.  Keep in mind to do a proper restoration your investing about 3 times the purchase price..
