I hope you didn't take it. That's way too low, at least for out here.

I felt like it was a fair offer, but I just wasn't ready to sell it at that point.  I'd love someone to offer me $5k+ for it but I just don't see that happening unless I find someone who really needs it to complete his/her collection of sliders.

I can vouch for Jim getting offered $4500 for his, as I had the buyer lined up to purchase it for that price if Jim was willing to sell.

I think Rod sold one a couple years ago for $4800.

Properly restored, they bring that kind of money for a Coke or OC.

As a side note, I was offered $5000 for my embossed OC and passed....Same thing as Jim...I wasn't ready to sell.

I guess I have a good market here? I've seen lots of "properly restored" machines...pretty subjective. I do feel I go the extra mile on mine.
Maybe that's why I can get a little more. I don't know. I still don't make any money on them, even at the higher price.
