Mission Beverages Ideal 55 Slider

Here is one I have not seen pop up in quite some time, not sure if it's somewhat Rare or just no one cares for it?

curious to hear from the SLider guys is if this is something I should pursue?  it's only the main unit, no rack,mech,cap catcher.. but the embossing intriques me?

I don't know much about it.. the sellers mom contacted me about it last night, but didn't give me details..

to me I'd buy to flip so is it worth 500-750 1000+?

  Since im really not in the market I have no real ideal .I do know that this is only the second one i'v herd of since i'v owned mine and the other one was not as good as yours . I have already promised to sell mine to another member for what I got in it .

But I did turn down $3500 and he was willing to go higher for mine . But I explained my promise to him and he agreed and said you don't see that that often. A man keeping his word .And The Gentleman Islso an Honest guy.  

And he need Mine and 1 other to complete his collection of the 18 Embossed 55 Sliders .

As I understand it his collection is Complete now !!!

Not a slider guy myself.... but if it's easy for you to get, and at a good price, I would grab it just for the rare factor... then trade or help another member out who's been looking for one.

Nothing wrong with making a profit on it either.....  but members helping members is a great thing too

Definitely one of the harder to find, but the value is to those going for the set. I don't think there are many casual buyers for that like if it was a nice original, but if you can find that guy you'll get a decent price, ($500-800 is just a guess) just not quickly.

Good point Tim.... not like there are a ton of Mission fans out there that needs a cooler in need of a full resto etc....

I sold my Squirt 55 missing rack and coin mech for 600 to a guy that just HAD to have it because his wife is 4'10 and growing up her family called her Squirt... so his intention was to restore it just as a reach in cooler with no mech or rack.
I had a lot of tire kickers on it, but like Mission, might be a harder sell.....

I would still pick it up at the right price though....

 I agree with all statement's There Are rarer ones IE  Dads &Tru-Aid and really the larger money is in the Guy that's wants  Nice Original & A complete collection there willing to pay complete it .
