Can anyone spare some clutch head sheet metal screws, probably #6 or #8 x 3/16" sheet metal?  I could use 6.  They secure the painted plate that surrounds the selection lever on a VMC 33 D.
Thanks for any assistance.  PM me if you have any to spare. Gmari2@verizon.net

FYI, My local Corvette restoration supplier carries them as they were also used in many automobiles from the 1950's , they even carry them in stainless steel.      just an alternate source for our hobby.  upside

Hi George,

Johnnie is right - The Chevy's used a 7/16" #8 clutch-head sheet metal screw.  Here's a good example:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1939-1940-1941-1946-Chevrolet-Truck-CLUTCH-HEAD-SHEET-METAL-SCREWS-8X-7-16-10p-/231167052475?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35d2a14abb&vxp=mtr

Haven't tried them myself but will probably order some to replace the rusty ones on my 44.
