Hello,

Checking to see if anyone has the National Instructional/Parts Manual for the 7M. 9M Cigarette Machines in a good legible PDF format...?
Before I think of scanning my original copy, thought I would ask if anyone has this and, more importantly, is willing to share it with me...

Thanks in advance ! ! !  hopefull  help  hopefull

Just curious if there was a way to change the coin mech acceptance value on the National cigarette machines?  Years ago I took one apart to see what it looked like and it was a series of plates that made pathways.  That was about ten years ago.  I don't remember anymore than that.  I do remember that the amount for the price of cigarettes could be rotated but I wasn't sure if you had to put in a new mech for the price or if you just reconfigured the old mech.

Yes Larry
However, I have noticed slight variations in the coin mechs and more importantly, some have been modified already...
The manual explains how to accomplish this by adjusting the latch levers beginning on page 29 referencing illustration on page 19.

The coin mech on mine is highly modified.  The vending company sent the mech out somewhere to be modified so it could take up to $4.00 in quarters.  The machine was actually in service until cigs went over $4.00 per pack here in MI.  I will shoot a picture so you guys can see it.  He showed me how to set it but I can't remember so maybe somebody here will be able to help.
