Can anyone tell me what type of bulb I can put for the lights inside the Jacob that would not burn or damage the plastic and where I could buy them??

From what I remember a 7w is the highest u could use... just make sure too that it's free and clear from the lens.

maybe someone else with more knowledge can chime in with regards to the 7.

Here is a picture of the light socket.  Does anyone know what type bulb goes in this and can I get it at Lowes or Home Depot?

The shine on that looks great.. would love to hear more about your cleaning process.. 

the Bulb is a Bayonet style bulb.. it will have smooth sides with two little "Bumps" on each side that slide in and you rotate it to lock in... not sure if you can find it a Home Depot or Lowes ? but maybe RadioShack?  but go with low voltage for sure..
