Ironic that the imported Coke still contains cane sugar, (last time I heard, anyway), but the domestic stuff contains liver nuke high fructose corn syrup.
Yes, the Mexican Cokes still use Cane Sugar, as do most sodas that are imported. The US seems to be the only major market for HFCS. Likely because we grow so much corn.
As far as I know, sucrose is sucrose so the actual flavor between them is no different, but I do admit to me there is a bit of a different "mouth feel" to the cane-sugar sweetened version.
