Atlas slider restoration complete (almost)

I'm 99% complete on my Atlas slider and I thought I would share some pictures. This was my second restoration and first slider (CSS-96 was my first machine restoration). I believe it's a Model 5 but the ID tag was missing. Thanks to Slider Bob for talking me into buying this machine and help/tips along the way. Also many thanks to collecture (Tom) for the coin mech rebuild. It turned out incredible. Lastly, thanks to SJW and Fun-tronics for parts and those who chimed in my posts and offered help on this machine. Here's a link to some original pictures I posted when I first brought the machine home:

I still need to put on the lid handle, rubber stoppers for the lid (when it opens fully), maybe paint the cap catcher black, and maybe a few decals on the coin mech (coin return, coin entry, etc.). I do have one question about the coin entry if anyone can help. Does anyone know what might have been attached on the top of the coin mech box where the coin entry slot is located (6th picture below)? It looks like there might have been a metal piece or chute that screwed on and the coins were dropped through that first. I'm thinking of just getting a decal made to cover the holes other than the coin entry slot. Anyways, below are some pictures.

Really great job! I haven't seen one of those sliders before, and it sure does look good finished right! I think you could make a nice polished stainless plate and add a coin entry decal to it to finish it off.

I didn't think about a stainless steel plate. That's probably what was one there originally. I'll look into it. Thanks.
