Really great job! I haven't seen one of those sliders before, and it sure does look good finished right! I think you could make a nice polished stainless plate and add a coin entry decal to it to finish it off.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I think you could make a nice polished stainless plate and add a coin entry decal to it to finish it off.
I didn't think about a stainless steel plate. That's probably what was one there originally. I'll look into it. Thanks.

Great job, I like the Dr Pepper Green. A very nice job I am sure there was a lot of time spent on the machine but it all paid off with a great looking slider...

Looks great Buddy!
I've got a couple different chrome bezels that were made for the Ideal 35 coin mech. They are the 1/2 camel hump, and full camel hump. You could try them and see if either will cover the coin slot hole and allow a coin to drop in it (not sure if the mech is there to function, or just for looks).
Email me/PM me if you want pics (I have a new cell phone number, so the old one won't work).
Again, congrats on your beautiful machine!

Looks great Tito! Glad I could help! I didn't think about a stainless steel plate. That's probably what was one there originally. I'll look into it. I doubt that it was originally a SS plate, but that will suffice nicely until you can figure it out. I would bet the farm that it had some sort of pot metal bezel on there originally.

I love that color. Reminds me of the Mint Julip chews that we bought when we were kids.

Very nice and careful attention to detail, I like it!
It's not your usual slider. For that reason, I like your capcatcher matching the machine.
Painting it black would make it look a little too similar to an Ideal.
I have a coin bezel from the coin box off an old Kiddie ride. I don't know if it would even cover the hole, also the coin rolls forward so it would miss your coin slot. Something else will come up.

Awesome. I don't know a thing about these sliders but I love what would be the flapper part on the Ideal Sliders. Looks extremely clean. Color is awesome. I'm redoing a golf cart right now and you just gave me a great idea for the color of it. The new Fiat also makes a car Dr. Pepper green, either way great job.
