Just recieved a nice repop manual today!  GREAT schematics included.  What a fascinating machine!!!
Already found the missing 6L6, and 5U4 tubes.  Kilroy, thanks for the heads up on the caps already ordered a set, remember having to do the same thing on my old radio I restored.
Also I have read how hard it is to find the palasters!!!

Have a nice lead on an old pre- flipper pinball machine going to look at this weekend!  The old "time warp" room is starting to take shape!

Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement, this board is fantastic.    will keep you posted on progress....

You're inspiring to think about digging out my 1400.  Where did you pick up your manual?

Got the lights working!!!
Figured out that dang selector problem, so now now all trays are opening and closing perfectly.
Got turntable going up and down, but for some reason the motor only turns on for the upper record or odd number selections? (gotta figure that one out?)
Finished recapping the amp tonight, and the missing tubes arrived today so tomorrows the big test day for amp and speaker?Huh??

Alot of work today!

1. Installed Recapped amp back into cabinet.
2. Installed tubes, and the new missing 5U4, and 6L6 tubes found on ebay.
3. hooked up all the amp leads again
4. repaired broken selector wheel wires and resoldered.

5. Figured out where the turn table wires hooked up (still havent figured out why it wont turn on for the bottom or even number selections)
I moved on.....
6. Fixed that peskey selector arm, and cleaned and lubed it.
7. Everything looks good for the big test???
8. Dropped my nickel in....
