Thanks everyone, unfortunately had to cancel my dinner plans for a last minute meeting back in DC, but the steakhouse isn't going anywhere...at least it better not be!

On a side note, it's been very interesting in my first couple months in NC from a buying/selling standpoint.  It's amazing how Craigslist is a totally different experience here, not to mention the people I'm dealing with.  DC seemed to have high priced antiques, lots of good finds in the free section, and people just seemed to want to get the deal done and not waste time.  NC so far has been great deals on antiques, limited to no free stuff, and the people are so much more friendly.  I have already built a small network of collectors and come across some stuff I never thought I'd find.  One guy I bought some gas station porcelain lights from happens to be into big factory demolition and comes across great stuff all the time, excited to see what else he comes up with this year.

Tom, Happy Birthday!   happydrinkers

Glad to hear you are settling in there in NC!  I lived there (Cameron) for 6 years, and my wife is from there.  NC was always the best antique hunting of any place I have lived!  I knew all the dealers around me and would get calls when they ran across stuff they knew I would want.  Most of the antique furniture in our house now came from there.  The people are awesome as well!  Will have to give you a shout next time we are out visiting family.

Hope you make a good find for your special day!
