This is a side question, but somewhat related... Where do you get the light kits? Is it something that someone sells, or makes up on their own?

I asked the same question before.  It would be a great tutorial for us that have a Junior or 180, that they would like to add a light to it!

As far as I know there was a guy here in California who made them but this was years ago and from what I've heard stopped a while ago. I'm not sure if someone else out there also made them. I'll dig up a picture of one that I had and post it.

Can you post inside pictures?  Type of light you used, and how you installed it?  Did you drill a hole out the back for the power cord??

That looks pretty damn cool and a good idea. Seems easy enough. Looks like it might be a little bright but if so that would be a easy fix.

Can the bulbs be changed to make them slightly dimmer?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to reply to this post, but I used LED strips lights by the foot(X2) with 18 LEDS per foot. They come in warm white(2700-3000K), Warm white(3000-3500K), Nature white(4000-4500K), Pure white(5500-6500K) The ones I used. They are easily installed with the attached double faced tape, I routed the wire thru my base and out the back to a 9VDC transfer with a switch ...nothing fancy but does the job.

Here there a link to where I got them from

ink list all the dimmers/controls available

Let me know if there are any question
