So I got tired of waiting for Waynes Neon to call me back just to hear they are still waiting on the plastic cover for my neon clock face.  I found a seller on ebay that has made a pretty good replacement part.  He says he is also in the process of making the illusion wheel ones and hopes to be selling them by summer.  I have pasted his ebay user link below.

I have had the same problem. I was buying a lot from them at one time, but they do not seem to be able to get parts anymore. Does your supplier have the glass covers or just plastic. Wayne used to carry the 15x15 and the 12 inch round glass. Good for repairing clocks and thermometers.

he said he is in the process of improving the plastic ones right now but I feel like he would be willing to make anything that there would be enough demand to make it worth his while.  He just asked me to add his phone #, seems like a nice enough guy

Did you order it from this guy?  I want to let him know where his new business is coming from, maybe he will join the forum and cut us a break on prices.

I am really glad this is helping

Here was his response to the clock and thermometer question, if there is a lot of demand let me know and I can pass this along

Hi ThereI can get glass made if you think there is some demand,The 15 x 15 size and 12 inch round does not make sense for ENCC clocks? the only clocks with glass are the 6 sided and 8 sided clocks and the Exposed ring and Aztec clocks? they might be asking about square lackner clock 15 x 15 square?if I had more information I could look into making some glass,I was selling the 6 and 8 sided Cleveland glass for a bit on ebay talk soonBob Kranker RWK

The glass I was referring to was not on neon clocks.  The 12 inch round glass is used on most of the old advertising thermometers that have the detachable ring on them. I have about 50 of them. Many of them I bought without the glass and replaced it. The 15 x 15 is used on many of the square Pam clocks.  Thanks

I decided instead of being the go between for this guy to recommend he join here and on oldgas.  I think he is going to join in the next few days and then he can get a feel from the members here as to what he should be making
