Im new to this. I have a vendo 56 with a national rejector model 9-03-005. 115 volts. 60 cycles.  My problem is as soon as I plug the coin mech into the female plug the coin mech starts clicking.  On the bottom left of the mech I see the mechanism moving. How do I fix this ? Thanks

Should be a switch on the bottom of the mech - sounds like it is going through payout motions.
Clicking is most likely the CREMS (coin return electromagnets). Unplug the mech, clip the wires to the magnets. Only purpose of the CREMS is to block acceptance of coins when the machine is empty - not necessary for home use.
Thought I read that you wanted to put a free-vend switch in?

Yes, because you cut the wires to the coin-reject-electro-magnets, which when de-energized, will reject all coins to the coin-return slot.  upside

I don't know what coinmech you are dealing with, but most have a coin switch(es) with a whisker-wire that sticks out in the path of the coins as they fall through the 'mech, if you "flick" the coin-switch whisker, it should simulate a coin passing, or you can try to nip off the wire "fingers" of the CREM magnets you've just disabled so the won't block the path of the coins as they pass through the rejector.
