30's porceilain coke street sidewalk sign. Hard to find most of these bases were scraped during the war. Price is firm 810-706-3235 Jim

Wow! Nice find! Petretti's 12 edition has one on page 264. They show average condition value at $950.

Condition is everything... looks like there is a huge area on the lower part of the sign that is damaged.. most likely bent over and porcelain chipped off, causing it to rust?  when it comes to "Is it worth the Money" question..

you really have to be the judge on that.. if you like it and you can afford it then buy it...

if your buying this for resale, then I'd say not really... the condition of the porcelain sign is what makes this valuable... near mint orignals can bring 1500-1800 but as soon as you have damage it decreases value dramatically.

That seems like a pretty decent starting price.  I think 350-375 range would be a great deal!  Point out the damage and see if he or she willing to lower the price.

Thanks all for the input I appreciate it, I was thinking the price was high but wasn't sure.... halehouse  that's a good question to ask ...what does the other side looks like,  hopefully this isn't the "good side" .....I going email and ask for some more pics of both sides
