hello everyone,
I'm new on this site. I collect coke items for a couple of years. I already restaured a vendo 80 and now a vendo 39.
Last week i bought in a garage sale a coke chest cooler. Id checked in my books and i didn't find the model. is there someone here who can help me on this, I would like to know who made it and what is this model. Thanks in advance

I don't know what it is but I like it. That is cool looking. How much did you get it for if I may ask?

I only paid 50 $, but there is no motor. But I agree with you, it's a cool looking art deco style cooler.

Nice! Looks like pre-war (WW2) '30's GE (General Electric), standard , I can't recall the exact model no.  very distinctive Deco styling!  hope you got the lids too!   '<img'>

Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes.
Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon!
The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p
Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor
11 is louder than 10...
"Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

I was fortunate enough to see one of these restored, and they have more chrome than a 59 Cadillac. Nice.
So far I have only seen this model available in Canada.

I may be way off but I keep thinking it's a Kelvinator?

Hello audiobeer,
I think you're right. A guy sent me an email yesterday and tell me it's from Kelvinator of Canada, model FSF12 (?) and was made during  the 40's. Thanks  for all the responses.

My thoughts are that the model is manufactured by the Kelvinator of Canada and is a FE-S-51. According to a photo of an ID Tag, the "S" designates "Special". Please keep in mind that this information is different than previously stated but may have changed from year to year...

I'm not sure where the paper label is located, but have you looked thoroughly inside and out of the cooler...?

I guess I need to get this model into the Soda Machines Section... '<img'>

Hello,
These are neet coolers. The picture of the one Jim showes IS MINE !! I sent it in over a year ago with pictures of the I.D tag.The tag is located in the lower section left side of were the compressure is.Or in your case were it was mounted.Mine has not been restored yet.But dose work ! And has all original parts! They are from Cananda Made by Kelvinator company.Modal FS-S-51 FROSTMASTER DELUXE .I do have a little info  on  it .Some were I have a picture of the I.D TAG ? It is paper glued in side lower compartment as I said .I also have a little Teck info on it If you would like i could E-mail it ? I''l have to scan it in first. The only reason mine is not restored yet is because of cost Just to have all the crome redone is $450.00 (my son-in-law works for a crome company and that's his cost) some break!!Paint & haveing it painted $650.00. I only paid $475 including shipping. So I just use it the way it is.And am saving up!!
