There is an old Michigan Mafia custom that if you admire someone's machine, they are obligated to  gift the machine to the one admiring

I can't give you a non working gift Ray. Let me  use those contact strip cleaners on it and see what i can do. I'd be disgraced and sihonored to gift a boat anchor if you have no boat.

When my buddies were racing stock cars,if one guy kept winning all the races and you thought that he had an unfair advantage another driver could just claim his engine.And he had to hand it over right then and there.I don't see why that theory shouldn't work with soda machines!
