I may have found a really nice Grapette cooler (standard size Action). Problem is, the seller wants $250.00. I am going over to take a look at it but I am really reluctant to spend that much on it.
So, what's a nice Grapette cooler going for these days. I need one to add to my collection.

The standard size is alittle harder to come by then the tall. I think the market right now would be $175 to $250. Condition is everything. The sandwich tray ads value also. A really nice origonal is harder to find then a restored one. Tom

I bought it last Monday. Paid $250.00 for it. But it will be a nice addition to my collection. It is the standard size model. No dents, no rust, mild wear on the paint.

Sounds like a fair deal, glad you got it. I have 2 standards, 2 talls, a Jr, a white and a stainless repro, and an Airline fantasy cooler. Love the Grapette stuff. Tom

I am trying to get one of each brand. After many yaers of looking I have most of them.
Pepsi single dot, Pepsi double dot, Seven-Up, Canada Dry, Coke, Dr Pepper, Royal Crown, a generic cooler, and now Grapette. Still looking for a Squirt. These are all Action A1 models with the aluminum corners. Along with these I also have two Airline coolers, three original Coke six pack coolers and a repro Coca Cola lowboy cooler.

Besides the beer brands I can't think of any. Can you?
I wouldn't mind finding a Stainless Steel Coca Cola cooler at a good price.

Besides the beer brands I can't think of any. Can you? Orange Crush? There are a few in this thread too... like the Mexican Acton http://soda-machines.com/discussions/index.php/topic,3593.0.html

I don't think I have ever seen a list of all A1 brands. Your collection is a great start.
Only have two coolers. Both alum. Progress and the Acton pictured below. Are you looking for the krinkle or smooth finish?
Thanks for recalling that thread collecture. One hell of a memory you have :-)
