WD-10 Drain Tube

All,

Looking at a generic Westinghouse manual.  I'm trying to figure out how to route my drain tub which connects down below the tub.  I have never seen an actual drain tub that hadn't rotted off the machine.

It looks like a "pre bent " tube like that are made for some of the upright machines, etc.  Has anybody done one of these before.  It also calls for some type of rubber grommet, and special clamp to hold the hose. Right now I have roughly 4' inches of 1/2 inch tubing tach welded to the bottom of the tub.  There is a whole in the false bottom where the tube stick out a few inches.   I had thought about just getting a clear piece of tube, and using a metal clamp similar to attaching rubber hose like on hose on a car.  I'm afraid that the clear 1/2' plastic tubing would be incorrect, and not ridging enough.

Anybody know of some hardware clamps, rubber groments, and drain tube that may work for routing condensation properly to the drain pan?

If I can get the measurements from where the tube come out the bottom of the tub roughly over to the condensation pan would that work?

I don't really have any other options but try to duplicate what I see in the picture.  Do you use a rolled copper to make these?

I would be interesting in obtainigs copies for reference.  I have the generic manual, your looks a lot more detailed??
