I have an opportunity to buy this Coke Sign. Owner says it's from early 1900s. 2 Questions: When is this sign from and how much is it really worth? Thanks

At first glance the thought fantasy comes to mind... unless it is truley some super rare sign..
Personally I have never seen it and by the rusted corners, it appears to have been manufactured...
is it tin, paper, cardboard?? how big is the sign..
I don't recall seeing it in any books off hand..
get us more detail on it but I am not too confident in it's authenticity...

He says it's Tin and it's 16" x 8.5". I am asking for some more detailed pics. I'll post when I get them.

I'm no expert on this, but we had a sign come thru our last auction with a simliar logo, trademark in the tail of the "C" in Coca. I noted that in the earlier signs with the trademark in that location, the tail is cut short with the end being in a more vertical orientation rather than horizontal like in the newer signs and this one. From that alone, I came to my own conclusion that it was in fact not an original "old" sign, but a newer remake attempting to look like an older one by placing the trademark in the tail rather than under it. Just my 2 cents!
