I bought one in early June complete with both keys for $500.00.

I can't get why some people dislike this machine and why its restored value is apparently
so low?  I  don't see why is you were put a nice paint job on it why you couldn't sell it to the right buyer.

I have a normal size garage and its fits very nice.  Now it does look s like a giant next to the Cav. 72!

The last time I moved my VMC-110, I swore I wouldn't be moving it again real soon (I'll be removing the shelves and stack first next time). It is a big heavy (400#) machine and that is the sole reason it is a hard sell. Smaller machines are just easier to move around and that adds to their appeal. One member sold his restored 7UP 110 for $5500 (I think) and I thought that was a great price.

I bought a nice moving dolly and move everything myself haven't noticed to much trouble yet.  I can agree that inside a modest size house the the 110 could be a little cumbersome.

My wife was not very interested in the soda machines until we had the pinstriping done on the WD10.
Now, if I can only convince her about putting the 72 in the house!

I got a nice dolly too, but I also have 20 years on you! Wait 20 years and see if you feel the same.  laugh

Ha!- I remember moving a 83 down my cellar stairs fifteen years ago, I could move 81s, 39s no problem.. by myself...
Now my brother screens all his calls and my youngest brother moved out of town!Hhhhmmmm glare
But by the time it's time to move my sons should be the perfect moving age...
I think that's why I like the junior and standard coolers now... I can still handle those myself... in a few years
I'll move to gumball machines and picnic coolers.... then I guess... bottle caps? down

I hear ya eric!
Getting older is one of the reasons Im tellin the wife that I have to get the machines I want NOW because when I get older, who's gonna move them! lol
I don't think the 110 in that large anyways... I have a Cav. 51, and its not that much different in size to that... where the Cav is taller, the 110 is wider, but the 110 is narrower... so its all good!  smile

the first machine I bought was  nice original 110... but it had to go in my basement , which was a small corner and then down a flight of steps.  I remeber bracing the steps with 2x4's every 4 steps as I was so worried the weight of the machine, one guy on bottom and one on top side sliding it down on a dolly would collapse the steps.
worse was when we moved and and to haul it and 5 others plus a jukebox and solid oak bar back up the same steps and the corner to get it out.

Oh yea.. let me add to the other thread about wish list..... I want to put on there WALK OUT BASEMENT!!!

Lol... walk out basement.
Im never moving from my home, as this is it for me, and I told my wife if I die in the mancave washroom like Elvis, then take me out of the basement first, as I dont want to be in the basement without my machines! lol

She told me they are all on Ebay the day after daisys are over my head.  So if ya all see a hoard of machines go on sale with a minute closing time between them,,,.... THOSE ARE MINE!!  lol

Her statements make me more determined than ever to out live her!  biggrin

Just curious what is a refinished vendo coke 110 worth?  I picked one up that has been painted already besides the raised coke on the main door for $1500.  I have around 2k in it at the moment with includes new wiring for the compressor, rubber pieces, bezel, and a few odds and ins.  I have been told around 6k but not sure.  The body of mine has very little rust and I plan on powder coating the bottle rack and having the coin mech worked on.
