Interesting...are the parts on these machines worth more than the whole? An original 7up81, in rough condition, is maybe worth $3,000? Interesting what the door ends up going for.

Also it has a correct VMC coin bezel on it. They can be really hard to find and I have seen a lot of VMC's lately that have had Vendo coin bezels on them. The coin door and bezel alone is worth $350 or more. I have sold bottle doors from $50 to $125 so we are already at over $400 without the embossed 7up door. It's going to go high I bet.

I'm just curious as to how many where watching this till someone mentioned it on this site... I've been watching it since it was posted a week ago.. thinking just maybe ,just maybe it would go unoticed... not so with ebay...  smile

Diego, your comment about a restored 7up is valued over 5k.. did you mean unrestored? I'd think the restored 7ups if done right are worth more than 5k?  maybe a typo?

will be fun to watch.. I'm guessing it'll go over 800

Oh you are so correct!, there are lurkers that watch this site for hot leads to be sure, so be careful what you post if you are a bidder & you're trying to get it on the cheap ( or at least affordable)

I've seen it on ebay since it was listed also. Thought it might have been a generic. Looks like the same two bidders are driving it up. At $610 now.

Plus even you don't have a machine, you can sit on it for a year & double your money

( Caution this comment is a deliberate attempt to get lurkers to drive the bidding higher & higher)  wow

my max bid was for $500 also...fun fun fun  blush
