Going to look at a Victor cooler on Friday and wanted to know what you guys think. He's asking $600 for it and looks to be pretty nice from the picture he sent me. He say's it's in a small town bar and still sits in its original location over 50 years behind the counter. He said he doesn't know if it runs since it hasn't been used in a while and might be tough to get out. Here is a picture of what he sent. Good deal or not at that price?

If complete, seems like a good deal. I would try to get him down though, in this economy!! Hope you land it!

That looks like the embossed model and both cap catchers are there and the Victor badge is there. The doors don't look all dinged up. Sounds like a decent price to me if the tub is solid. Brian can pick it up and deliver it for you! Just kidding! I still owe him for the transport job on my 4-door! I agree with brian--go with $400 in hand and see how you do. Tim

price should be negotiable, the economy is weak on those huge coolers

I might try to build a "Hot Dogger" out of this one. I have been doing my research on the Victor Kooler grill and I read somewhere there is only 5 know to exist. I have a buch of stainless sheet material and a fabricator just down the road from me. Or I just might keep it original if it is really clean. Thanks for the input guys!

Speaking from experience with Jukeboxes, the nicotine may have kept the paint factory fresh.

Great find. Windex multi-surface seems to cut nicotine the best. Creighton
