All,

I want to replace the push button light switch that goes in teh bottle door for my Vendo 110.  Home Depot sells them, but they have 2 wires.  The one I removed has 4 wires.  Can a 2-wire switch work, or do I have to order a 4-wire?

Thanks!

I would have to look at the schematic and see how the lighting is wired...
Perhaps Steve at The Soda Jerk Works would know more as he does sell the four wire version...

Your V110 is wired with a manual Push-to-start 4/wire button, were you 1st push the switch to make the ends of the florescent lamp "glow" then you release it & it "strikes" the lamp & lights it.

If you want to use a 2/wire on/off switch you'd have to rewire the circuit to utilize an F5 or an F2 starter...If this what you want to do, then note the wiring schematic on the prior post here

Thanks, John.  I'll order a new 4-wire switch.  I'll also get a new ballast.  Mine is done (wires are bad).
