For the where, how about a good  Coney island? Nothing says Michigan like two on one and a side of chili fries.

Kilroy has a good idea there!  I would even break my diet for that!  There are a lot of Coney Island options.  Lucas Coney Island on Grand River in Brighton is pretty good!

Now if you guys can figure out to move it close the lake.. I'll take the ferry over, or maybe just swim it for excercise... biggrin
sounds like you'll have a good time regardless...

I don't think the Badger is running this time of the year so it looks like you will have to swim!  Drag a case of Mexican Cokes behind you.  They should be nice and ice cold by the time you get to Ludington!   laugh happydrinkers biggrin

For those of you not from the Michigan and Wisconsin, here is some info on the Badger:

http://www.ssbadger.com/home.aspx

I only ever took the Badger once.  I had a nice cigar, a book and I was planning on sitting out on the deck in the sun and relaxing for a few hours.  It rained all the way across the lake! down

Dave,

It is actually Lake Michigan that we are talking about.  It separates Michigan and Wisconsin.  The car ferry would be a fun family trip on a nice sunny day.  It was not so much fun in the rain!

Signguy--here is a picture of the lighthouse in Ludington so you know where to get out of the water at the end of your swim.  We will be waiting for you with a cold beer!  tounge

As far as the Cold Beer at the end of the swim, I may be from Wisconsin, but even "WE" won't do certain things even for Beer or Cheese! biggrin
