         Had a guy call me today looking for a coin mech and slider rack for a 55. Said his neighbor was going to haul it to the dump even though it was cooling well. He asked me if he should paint it because it had scratches........................

Haul it to the dump....Huh. A picker buddy of mine got a similar call a few years ago.The guy told him that he was the last guy to call before he took the thing to the dump. The "thing" happened to be a coin-op runningman pitch and bat baseball game. So he gave him  25 bucks for it and went on his merry way,had a buddy put it on ebay for him and the winning bid was 2K plus. Of course this was a few years ago when the market was up but stuff like that happens every day. People would rather spend $500.00 on a dumpster to get rid of stuff than run an ad and have it all disappear for free or profit.

       He saved it but the guy that gave it to him sent the slider rack and coin mech to the dump about 30 years ago.   darn
