I am on a hot streak.  This game was still being played at a local bar.  54 years old and still taking dimes.  I am going to play it for a while before I tear it down for a restoration.  Let me know if anyone on the board has experience with these bowlers.  I will most likely need some help.

I have worked on seven United's, but never on a CC or Bally.  I'm sure they are all similar.  I have a Bally All Star Deluxe, but I never worked on it.

The one thing that I found with my other Bally games is that some of their light sockets really suck and their "plugs" tend to break when you remove them.  The curved area of the female plug, tends to break.  So be very careful when you remove them.  Afterwards, I always scotch brite the male plugs and then apply a copper conductive paste on them.  This way when you remove it next time, they will slip out easier.  It's like copper never seeze.

Schematics could probably be found at the Pinball Resources in New York.

Thanks Larry.  This will be a more difficult restoration than the United Midget Alley

Ball bowlers are a lot of fun.   oh Some of the United's I worked on had tons of parts to take off and clean/adjust.  Especially the multiple game bowlers where they had 26 score/frame/player reels, ten or more steppers, and twenty or so relays.  Yep, they are a little more advanced than the turret games, but they are worth the time.  I really like them.

Leonards having a ball with his. biggrin

I see that this was Ballys first ball bowler.  It has no gutters, kind of like the only bumper bowler out there.  Very cool glass!! Cool

Does it score like regular bowling?  Some of the older games had a certain value for strikes and spares instead of figuring out the actual score.  It looks like a single game bowler so it shouldn't have too much to go through.

If you have any questions, feel free to pm me.

Great find Brian! Can I buy it from you once it's restored? Would you take $1,500 for it when it's done?
