Yeah, A Pepsi roll is right! Like I said before I'm just happy that I have the parts I need for the 81. Incidentally, my 12 y.o. daughter asked me if I was going to restore this one and when I replied "probably not" she wanted to know why......

That statement actually makes it more difficult for me to scavenge what I need off of it and part out the rest!  biggrin

I second Pat's words...restore it!  It's a nice, complete Pepsi 110.  I'd love to get my hands on one of those!  The parts for your 81 are out there and will find their way to you soon enough, I'm sure.

Besides, can't break your daughter's heart!  I know, I have 3 of them!  My oldest is still waiting for me to get her the Milk Machine she wants...just trying to save up!

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys! I also found out today that there isn't anything wrong with the refrigeration system! it was only on it's back for about 2 hours total but I waited until I got home today to plug it in to op test the deck. The compressor fired right up and I listened for any strange noises and heard none. I also moticed that the evaporator fan wasn't turning. I reached back behind and manually rotated the blades and the fan broke free. Apparently a mouse or something else had made a nest inside behind the evaporator which resulted in the fan blades being blocked. After it broke free the cool air flowed freely!!

It's always nice to find out that things aren't as bad as reported!  laugh
