Here's the easy way out.

I can't find the stainless "Elite" in stock.  Waste Kings web site doesn't really have a link anymore.  Who knows if they still exist.  Pretty cool.

Same product.  Anaheim may be the name used instead of Waste King.  Waste King mainly made garbage disposals.  Anaheim sounds better as does Quick and Hot when compared to Waste King for a water heater.  The two shown are made by Waste King but could be called something different.  The silver one was named Elite and was stainless throughout I believe.  Same heater..

There's another cheap heater by a different company but it had a lot of bad reviews.  Not sure the name.  saw it earlier today.  Waste King has bad reviews about their discharge hose rotting from the heat.  I would use copper and feed the porcelain bowl of the coffee machine.

I was looking at a two gallon Rheem water tank but the stat wont go to 180 F.  I read that 180 F was needed to properly mix freeze dried coffee or whatever product this will put out.  Nestle has some flavored coffees.  I hate coffee so it don't matter to me what it dispenses.  Tea would be fine.

I think a new heater is the route I'm going to take.  I believe I can get rid of the water inlet solenoid.  My only concern is since the cups are small, how much residual water will be in the line between use.  I would only worry about the first cup after the machine has been sitting awhile.  Depending on the length and angle of the line, there could be a few ounces in there.  I would probably rig it up close and high with the tubing angled down.  Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Larry.

If you have used a Keurig coffee brewer there must be some way to make it work similar to that . After you pull the lever down the water travels up thru the heat exchanger and all the water dispensed is hot .

Just an update.  I let the boiler dry out and shook a lot of the dried up muck out.  I'm thinking of pressure washing what I can and the let it soak in CLR, vinegar, or other cleaners for awhile.  There is still hope for it, but it's still nasty.  I wouldn't want to drink out of it yet.

Put together the optional coin mech and changer.  I like this Stoner because of the change option.  You can sell coffee or hot chocolate for 5,6,7,8,9, or 10c.  I'm going to sell it for 9c.  That's just too cool.  The machine takes penies, nickles, dimes, or quarters for payment.  Look at the coin mech on the left and the changer on the right.  They are much simpler now.   biggrin
