To those that have restored this machine, what did you use for a replacement body gasket?  The sponsor sites do not carry a gasket for this machine, and nothing really compares to the original.

Did you save the body gasket when you took it apart?

I made a similar mistake on a Westinghouse chest cooler and had to wait for one of the sponsor sites to make one!

I do have the original gasket, it's brittle but intact.  I'll plan to reuse it unless I find a substitute that will work...
