Hello

What do you think someone says when they say that the "coin box" is missing?
Is it the little plastic box that the coins drop into? Or is it something to do with the actual coin mech?

Thanks in advance all

It depends....some older folks call a Coke machine a "Coke Box". I'd want clarification if I were travelling far for it or bidding on it. They could mean the coin door and everything behind it!

Leonard's right (with this exception) - the large door machines (81D, RT56, LD110) use a plastic coin box.

I've had people call the whole coin door, mechanism and all related parts the "Coin Box"..

Most of the people selling this stuff, aren't educated on the exact parts names they just name it whatever...

hence why you always need to ask for photos...
