Ok where can I buy fans? I know now why they were growling and squeeling. They are so loose they were all but falling out.

I found a nice selection in the online Graingers catalog..here's the link...match the voltage & CFM ( if available) don't worry about rotation, these motors can be reversed easily by removing the rotor & flipping it around in the field coil...& get a matching fan blade too, as the old ones usually crack with age & also fall apart  sometimes when they are removed form the old motors shaft. plus the axle-hole may be of a different diameter than the new motors shaft...
